Kyle Steinle was our Videographer.

He was so nice to work with! He called me a few days before the wedding to make sure we were on the same page about what & when things would be occurring throughout our wedding night. He explained what equipment would be used to capture our wedding, where it would be placed, and for what reason. He even helped me to think of things regarding ceremony readings/traditions that I had not thought of. He explained that he does his absolute best to capture every moment, while keeping our event from looking like a movie set. Kyle really did do a great job of filming every important memory, while somehow seeming invisible! We promptly received our wedding DVD (about a month and a half) and I’m so happy that we ended up hiring Philly Event Group. We are able to hear, see and re-live our wedding night in quality picture.

MC Moses was the best we have ever seen! We used Philly Event Group for our B’nai mitzvah and we could not have been happier with the experience of the performance and also the customer care we received from the company. Everybody loved Moses! He knew what music to play and kept the dance floor packed the entire time. Moses’ dancers were a great part of the party as well. Moses showed up with a blow dryer and spiked up the kids hair which was a real fun added surprise that helped make the party go “over the top”. As parents we were very impressed with how Moses contacted us a few weeks before to go over everything and he even gave us his cell number in case we had any questions. We actually did need to talk with Moses before the event and he made us feel very comfortable. During the event Moses came over to me several times to check in and ask if I needed anything and to make sure I was happy with how the event was going. Moses just couldn’t do enough for us! This level of professionalism is a rare find and we were fortunate to have Moses and our entertainer. Our friends and family are still talking about how great our party was. I highly recommend Moses and Philly Event Group for anyone wanting a great party with a fantastic team of DJ, dancers, lights, and prizes all led by an outstanding MC.

A first impression is very important and that is the sole reason we selected DJ Johnny.  We had never heard him perform before but based on our initial phone conversation we were confident he was the perfect fit.  He was easy to talk to and very receptive to our hopes for the wedding.  He was even willing to meet with us in Maryland when we visited family in DC.  He always returned our phone calls promptly.  In fact, DJ Johnny was one of the few vendors that we didn’t have to worry about.

He was professional and very attentive to our requests.  He really listens to his clients.  He was able to read our guests perfectly and was able to keep everyone on the dance floor the entire evening!  He is very personable and approachable and many of our guests commented on how great he was!

Two perspective clients had the opportunity to visit the venue during our reception to check out DJ Johnny.  If the dance floor was any indication of his talents we’re sure they’ve already booked him!

It seems like a very long time ago that Jen, Craig and I came to see a preview of Encore in the studio.  I know that one of the few things people remember about a wedding is the food and the entertainment.  Thus, I emphasized to my daughter that the music was very important.  So when we heard Encore , we were sold!  High energy, talented personable entertainers and musicians, great play list, and right-on renditions are just a few of the qualities that made our decision easy.

It is no coincidence that we are receiving many kudos after the performance our guests experienced on October 22, 2011.  Everyone, without exception, commented on the band!  We wanted a party atmosphere, and you gave us that and more!  Even our photographers commented that having experienced many weddings themselves, ours was one of the top ones on their list as far as a “fun party wedding”.

I think this quote from Maya Angelou sums up our experience with Encore:“… people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.” We wanted our guests to leave feeling that they had had a wonderful evening!  Thanks to all of you, we succeeded, even if the only measure was the packed dance floor!  To be sure, they will look back on this evening with great fondness.

Philly Event Group was very easy to work with from the start. Even though I was fairly set on Spectrum (from a glowing recommendation I had received), they sent us a disc of available bands for our date. They were all great and it was a hard decision. Spectrum though was amazing and we were more than happy with our choice. Ben and the band were so easy to work with and any request we had, they met. Even requests during the wedding, they were than happy to do! Everyone at the wedding LOVED them. My father, who can be pretty hard to please, but loves a good band, was especially impressed and was on the dance floor the whole time. They did a great job of getting everyone on the dance floor and keeping them there with a great mix of current hits and all time favorites. From older to younger, everyone was out there dancing and having a ball. What I thought was especially impressive was that the band never stopped, except when people were talking of course! Someone was always playing or singing something appropriate to the mood while we were eating and then once we were ready to dance, they never stopped! I would, and already have, recommend Spectrum and Philly Event Group to anyone! Thanks, Spectrum for giving everyone at the wedding a fun night to remember!

Jeff and Kyle were stellar! We just reviewed our video, and were quite please with the results…to the point of crying all over again! We used 2 videographers, to capture both the groom and bride getting ready in two different locations, and wanting to ensure that all angles were captured during the ceremony. Jeff had a great sense of humor and was more than willing to work with any request we had. He and Kyle managed to capture all of our guests at some point throughout the evening. My husband was concerned about spending any money on videographers, but after seeing samples of their work online, and now our final product, he’s so happy we secured them!! I am a bit anal, and reviewed several other videographers, but I’m so glad I went with the Philly Event Group, and specifically Jeff and Kyle. (Highlight edit by Dawn Griffin)

August, 2011 — Glyde Productions participated in a week long benefit event in Vail, Colorado. This incredible event was
for a cause that benefits cancer survivors from 18 to 39. The group First Descents takes young adults on week long adventure trips with
great programming and outdoor activities. This year, our own MC Glyde was privileged enough to become a camp counselor for a full week.

Of course when Glyde Productions is on a week long adventure, even in the Rockie Mountains,

there is going to be a party! Emcee Glyde, Emcee Ice & DJ Ralphpartied with staff and campers alike for hours.

Colorado will never be the same!

The Glyde Productions Team will not soon forget the emotions
and expressions of love, happiness and gratitude they received.

We can’t wait till next year!
